Flow-Assurance Test Loop for Wax Deposition Control in Crude-Oil Transfer Lines
Project Type: Self-Initiated
Project Description
This project involved building a lab-scale flow-assurance test loop to study wax deposition in waxy crude-oil pipelines. The loop circulates a paraffinic oil/model-wax mixture under controlled temperature and flow velocity. Wax buildup is measured using visual inspection mechanism. The system enables repeatable testing of deposition behavior and comparison of mitigation strategies.
