Sustainable Lightweight Oil Well Cement Using Fiberglass Waste with Controlled Mixing

Project Type: Self-Initiated

Project Description

This project develops a sustainable lightweight oil well cement by incorporating recycled fiberglass waste and a custom-designed controlled mixing system that ensures uniform slurry quality and prevents segregation. The optimized formulation reduces environmental impact while maintaining strong zonal isolation and well integrity. Laboratory testing using core samples and advanced equipment evaluates key properties such as strength, permeability, and durability under simulated downhole conditions, delivering a more efficient and environmentally responsible cementing solution.
