Smart Mobile Oily Water Treatment Unit

Project Type: Self-Initiated

Project Description

This project introduces the design of a Smart Mobile Oily Water Treatment Unit for decentralized treatment of produced water contaminated with light oil. The system is a compact, skid-mounted unit that combines flotation, adsorption, and membrane filtration to treat water with oil concentrations up to 500 ppm and achieve an oil removal efficiency of ≥80%, with a final effluent of ≤100 ppm. The unit features real-time monitoring using flow, pressure, and level sensors, supported by an intelligent control system that enables automated operation and adaptive responses to changing inlet conditions. Its low-voltage, battery-supported design allows safe and reliable off-grid deployment in remote and temporary oil and gas operations, offering an energy-efficient and sustainable on-site treatment solution.
