Smart Traffic Light System for Emergency Vehicle Clearance
The Recognition by the Vice President Award
Project Type: Self-Initiated
Project Description
Traffic lights operate on fixed cycles and cannot respond to approaching emergency vehicles, causing delays and safety risks. This project develops a smart UWBط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯based detection and signalط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯control system that clears intersections automatically, improving response times and overall traffic safety. The design provides a reliable, costط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯effective solution suitable for realط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯world smartط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯city deployment. The system reliably detects emergency vehicles and clears intersections automatically, reducing delays and improving safety. Its UWBط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯based design offers fast response, simple integration, and strong potential for real smartط£آ¢أ¢â€ڑآ¬ط¹آ¯city deployment.
