Self Cleaning Membrane-Based Carbon Capture and Utilization in Cement Factories

Project Type: Self-Initiated

Project Description

Cement manufacturing accounts for approximately 8% of global COط£آ¢أ¢â‚¬ع‘أ¢â‚¬ع‘ emissions, primarily due to the calcination of limestone and the combustion of fossil fuels. Existing carbon capture technologies are often too energy-intensive, costly, and ill-suited for high-temperature, particle-laden flue gases emitted by cement plants. A practical, scalable, and energy-efficient solution is urgently needed to reduce emissions while maintaining production efficiency.
