Project Description

mart Street Condition Inspection System (SSCIS), a mobile inspection solution for residential district streets in Saudi Arabia. Current monitoring depends on public reporting and manual inspection; reporting quality can vary due to classification and location inaccuracies, while manual inspection is slow, labor-intensive, and inconsistent. SSCIS addresses this gap by providing proactive, repeatable assessment of pavement surface-condition issues and generating structured, location- and time-stamped inspection outputs to support maintenance planning and verification. The report defines the project scope, objectives, deliverables, customer needs, standards, constraints, and specifications, and evaluates design concepts to select a final approach for development and testing.
