Smart Modular Chemical Pre-Treatment unit with automated controls

Project Description

This project presents an automated, modular Chemical Pre-Treatment (CPT) unit that integrates oxidation, neutralization, and gas scrubbing with an innovative MOF unit into a portable framework for treating industrial wastewater. Utilizing an ESP32 control system with real-time pH and ORP sensor feedback, the unit ensures precise closed-loop dosing and a two-second safety shutdown response. The design successfully maintains effluent pH between 6.0 and 9.0, achieves over 99% sulfide removal, and utilizes a specialized scrubber to keep hazardous H2S emissions below 5 ppm. Engineered with corrosion-resistant materials for under 12,000 SAR, the system provides a cost-effective and compliant solution for safe wastewater pretreatment.
